A distinctive publishing house, Lafayette Anticipations develops a programme of catalogues and monographs in direct collaboration with the artists it hosts.
Catalogues
The catalogues published by Lafayette Anticipations accompany the exhibitions, whether printed or not in our workshops, they are conceived as unique objects, the fruit of collaboration between the Foundation and the artists.
Each catalogue is the object of a specific graphic design and a format of its own. Richly illustrated with exhibition views, they also offer a series of texts by authors and international critics in French and English.
Booklets
Each exhibition is accompanied by a volume in the Carnets collection, featuring original content that offers insights into the artworks and the artists’ approaches. Following an initial series of publications produced on-site using risograph printing, the collection is entering a new chapter with fully digital editions, which remain bilingual (French–English).
Other publications
Lafayette Anticipations' publishing projects are numerous, including artists' books, publications produced during in situ workshops, and limited-edition artists' editions. They reflect the activities of a multi-disciplinary space that is always on the move and favour short circuit or even 100% homemade practices.
