Placing production at the heart of its activity, Lafayette Anticipations sees its editorial policy as a tool of expression and transmission at the service of artists. From the educational brochure to the artist's booklet, from the "catalogue" to the architecture book, each of the objects published by the Foundation aims to give an account of its original approach to support. In addition to its collaborations with internationally renowned graphic designers and printers specialized in art printing, the editorial team is developing a production unit in the building at 9 rue du Plâtre which will enable a certain number of projects to be carried out in situ, in the spirit of a 21st century printer-library workshop: risography, manual and mechanical shaping, sewing, laser cutting, etc.

The Lafayette Anticipations editions are distributed by Flammarion (except for the book Anticipations, distributed by Les Presses du Réel).

For each exhibition, a booklet accompanies the public and offers new content that allows a better understanding of the works and the approach of the artists. Entirely made on site, in risography, these notebooks are bilingual (French-English) and sold for 5€.

The catalogues published by Lafayette Anticipations accompany the exhibitions, whether printed or not in our workshops, they are conceived as unique objects, the fruit of collaboration between the Foundation and the artists.

Each catalogue is the object of a specific graphic design and a format of its own. Richly illustrated with exhibition views, they also offer a series of texts by authors and international critics in French and English.

Other publications

Lafayette Anticipations' publishing projects are numerous, including artists' books, publications produced during in situ workshops, and limited-edition artists' editions. They reflect the activities of a multi-disciplinary space that is always on the move and favour short circuit or even 100% homemade practices.
