Every Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 pm, Lafayette Anticipations invites 10 visitors to discover its production and publishing workshops!
A significant portion of the 9 rue du Plâtre spaces are dedicated to artistic experimentation and creation, thus placing the production process as the architectural and institutional foundation of Lafayette Anticipations. Wood and metal work, fusing, 3D printing and laser engraving, drilling and digital tracing… the numerous production techniques mastered by the Lafayette Anticipations production team rendering the Fondation a unique institution of its kind, serving as both a catalyzer for creation and exhibition of the artists invited to work in the space.
In order to present to the audience a dimension of artistic creation that is often inaccessible and invisible, Lafayette Anticipations opens the doors to its workshops each Saturday at 7 PM during a tour guided by a cultural mediator. Together, they will discover the Fondation’s basements, exploring its machines and engage with the current exhibition pieces via the prism of their respective production processes.
