Published to mark the event Let’s Make the Unknown an Ally at the former Weber Métaux stores, Anticipations is the first book published by Lafayette Anticipations. It takes stock of the Foundation’s first three years of activity, prior to the opening of its building, which was refurbished by Rem Koolhaas/OMA. Conceived as a series of "production notebooks", the book documents projects by artists and creators such as Anja Aronowsky Cronberg, Ulla von Brandenburg, Emmanuelle Huynh, Simon Fujiwara, Rotor and Anicka Yi. Unpublished essays and interviews with Howard S. Becker, Rem Koolhaas, RoseLee Goldberg, François Quintin and others further explore contemporary modes of artistic production.
