Hunter Killer Father Lover is a 12-minute CGI film created for the exhibition project Horny, Aimless & Alone. It depicts the fictional association of a phallic-shaped mutant creature—halfway between a Hunter-Killer military drone and a beluga whale—and a monocultural acid forest. The work addresses colonial methods of displacement through ecological manipulation and the instrumentalisation of nature. The central character, conceived as a failure, transforms from a rigid weapon into a mass of translucent, undulating flesh that evokes a sense of pity. Its sagging skin struggles to contain it as it seeks to prevent the collapse of the architecture built to keep it in power. By exploring the intersection between sexuality and destruction, Serfaty deconstructs the phallic symbolism of weapons while revealing the vulnerability of landscapes as reflections of complex social structures.
