Founded in 2005, Rotor is a collective of people who share a common interest in the material flows in industry, construction, design and architecture.
Their actions are situated at a double level: on the one hand, in design projects and the realization of structures, installations and exhibitions for various sponsors; and, on the other hand, in research work carried out both in the field, and in the domain of scientific literature dealing with the problem of material resources, waste, reuse, etc. This research has resulted in various reports and recommendations drafted for a number of public bodies.
In 2014, Rotor launched a new autonomous entity, Rotor Deconstruction, devoted to the dismantling and resale of architectural elements from demolished buildings.
