Robert Görl

Robert Görl is a German musician, best known as founder of the DAF group (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft) created in 1978.
After he took jazz lessons and started a classical music education, Robert Görl interrupted his studies in 1978 and became interested in punk rock in London. The same year he met Gabriel Delgado-López in Düsseldorf and formed DAF with him. In 1984 he recorded his first solo album Night Full of Tension working with Annie Lennox of the Eurythmics.
