Camille Froidevaux-Metterie is a philosopher and professor of political science at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. She is a specialist in feminist history and thought.
Her research is devoted to feminine bodily themes from a phenomenological perspective that considers women's bodies between alienation and emancipation.
