Amos’ World is a fictional trilogy that tells the story of a progressive housing estate through the eyes of its architect, Amos, and its residents. Through live-action actors, animated characters, and both analogue and digital technologies, the series explores the relationships between architecture, power, and emotions. This first episode introduces Amos, the building’s architect. He embodies the archetype of the tormented white man whose arrogance precludes any self-reflection. Confusing his ambitions with reality, he remains incapable of perceiving their consequences. Alongside several residents, an allegorical character named The Weather also appears, tasked with tempering the architect’s moods. As the story unfolds, the building proves to be far from the ideal Amos had imagined: the residents’ physical and emotional needs gradually come into conflict with the behaviours he had planned for them.

À propos de l'artiste

C.B. Evans

Born in 1983 in Etats-Unis
