In this third and final episode, Amos’s building is dismantled and the residents take over a space that is now freed from the structure that organised their lives. Filmed in a studio in front of a live audience, the film follows the deepening of the residents’ relationships, which now develop outside the coexistence model envisaged by the architect. The trilogy thus challenges the ideal of an architecture capable of determining behaviour and harmoniously organising relationships between individuals. The narrative concludes, however, on a note of openness rather than a declaration of failure. A succession of voices come together in a shared reflection on identity, the ability to define oneself, and the way in which thought evolves over time. This reflection also opens up the theme of intergenerational transmission and the possibility that others, in turn, may invent new ways of telling their stories and conceiving of the world.
