Constructed from concrete and steel, this installation forms part of the multifaceted project Amos’ World, in which installations, videos, sculptures, and architectural elements are intertwined around a narrative. Structured as a fictional trilogy, the series follows the residents of a housing estate in conflict with the vision of their architect, Amos. This micro-architecture, conceived as an immersive installation that extends the film’s universe, draws direct inspiration from the buildings featured in the narrative. Evans thus transposes the characters’ living conditions into the exhibition space, creating a dialogue between the real and the fictional. The space gradually transforms into a set, allowing the audience to experience the sense of confinement felt by the residents, as well as the need—as the narrative unfolds—to once again become the protagonists of their own lives.
