Rat Section + Saeira
Monday 08 Dec 2025 from 7pm to 10pm
12 €

An evening in two parts dedicated to experimentation, where sound and bodies resonate with the architecture of the Fondation.
In the first part, Saeira unfolds a universe that is both intimate and vibrant, where her voice blends with electronic textures to compose sensitive and hypnotic soundscapes. She explores desires, distortions and states of trance. After several notable singles - Mes cheveux (White Garden, 2022) and Partir a Corrida (SMC, 2023) - she is preparing the release of her first album, expected in 2025.
In the second half, the duo Rat Section explores a more raw and unstructured sound: a dialogue between distorted rhythms, fragmented voices and electric improvisations, where the energy of the live performance comes into its own. Known for adapting each performance to the venue that hosts them, they compose sound and visual universes of rare intensity. Following the 2023 release of their album What Stays In Vegas on Halcyon Veil, they have presented their creations at venues such as the Barbican Centre, the ICA (London) and Tresor (Berlin).

She has her own solo female experimental music and performance project made of rough, seeping metallic frequencies, whispered or fado-inspired voices and corrupt dance and movements since 2018.
Dark and intimate, her music and lyrics approach the body and exacerbate the senses to form a singular and disconcerting poetry. Her dance explores themes as intrusive desires, distortions of the feminine body, sexuality and transe states.
She released singles like "Mes Cheveux" on the parisian independant label White Garden in 2022 and "Partir a Corrida" on SMC's compilation in 2023 and a serie of concerts in France, Portugal and Switzerland, She is now preparing the release of her first album "Solar da Estátua" for october 2025.
In 2023 they released ‘What Stays In Vegas’ via Halcyon Veil, marking a much anticipated revival of their cryptic and genre-bending universe. They have performed at venues such as the Barbican Centre (London), the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), Tresor (Berlin).
