To mark the release of Simon Johannin's new novel Le fin chemin des anges (published by Denoël), La Librairie is hosting a one-off book signing with the French writer, poet and novelist.
Simon Johannin is back with a gripping tale haunted by memory, silence and forgotten revolts. In Le fin chemin des anges, the author follows the footsteps of a man on the run, besieged by ghostly voices, to the island of Levant - an isolated territory, a military zone and a place of buried memory. There, in the ruins of a former children's prison, the story of Louis emerges, a young boy in revolt, whose forgotten voice travels through time.
After studying art at La Cambre (Brussels), he published his first novel, L'Été des charognes, at the age of twenty-three. All his works have been published by Allia.
