As part of Paris Design Week, take a guided tour of the DESIGN DISCO CLUB exhibition.
Conceived by Pli office, this exhibition highlights a new generation of designers and architects who are rethinking the forms, uses and narratives of contemporary design. Inspired by the free and collective energy of the disco movement, DESIGN DISCO CLUB celebrates design as a space for freedom, emotion and sharing.
The tour takes visitors on a journey through a new kind of “club”, where the work of some forty emerging designers comes together with that of iconic figures such as Marine Serre, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dior and Mugler.
Guided by Christopher Dessus, curator of the DESIGN DISCO CLUB exhibition and founder of Pli office, you will explore the scenography designed by Paf atelier, while discovering the issues that run through the exhibition: the relationship with time, production rhythms, aesthetic and political commitments.
He is the founder of Paf Atelier, a design and architecture studio, and Pli Office, a creative agency and publishing house.
He is renowned for his innovative projects at the crossroads of design, art and architecture. In addition to his own creations, he works with cultural institutions and businesses to push back the boundaries of contemporary design.
