As part of Boris Charmatz' Workshop in Residence, Lafayette Anticipations and [terrain] invite choreographer and dancer Ashley Chen to lead a dance workshop for all audiences.

Based on the principles of "Levée des conflits", a choreographic canon created by Boris Charmatz in 2010, Ashley Chen will share with the participants some of the strong axes of [terrain]'s practice and work: relationship to space, to the collective, deployment of dance outside of the usual performance spaces.

The public is invited to share this performative and participative moment in the Agora, the central space of the Foundation, which at the same time hosts the results of the work of the students of the FCIL - scenography and visual communication class of the Lycée Alfred Costes in Bobigny, who have been working all year on these same principles, looking for possible visual translations: objects, paper documents, plans, models.

Ashley Chen has taken part in many [terrain] projects and will dance in Boris Charmatz's next piece, "Liberté Cathédrale", which will be created in 2023.
