Raphaël Emine

Born in 1986 in Sables d'Olonne, France

Influenced by Tim Ingold, Donna Haraway, and landscape architect Gilles Clément, Raphaël Emine’s sculptural practice breaks down the boundaries between theoretical knowledge and technical practices. His approach to ceramics involves reflections on biology through sculptures that can incorporate fluids, plants, and living organisms. Combining 3D printing and traditional techniques, Emine produces new modes of fabrication in order to imagine symbiotic futures.

Born in 1986 in Les Sables d’Olonne (France), Raphaël Emine graduated from the Villa Arson in Nice (2014). He lives and works in Paris.
