The Studies series, which includes this small ceramic piece, was born out of a research project developed by the artist in 2024 on sculptures designed to accommodate insects. Initially produced using a 3D clay printer, each piece was then shaped by hand and glazed, giving rise to forms that seem to be drawn from non-human worlds. By combining traditional techniques and digital technologies, Emine seeks to respond to contemporary environmental concerns. Studies #6 should not be viewed as a stand-alone work or a functional object, but as a device for interaction between species, a tool for observation or a relational device that transforms itself according to its environment.
