Matthew Angelo Harrison

Born in 1989 at Détroit (USA). Lives and works in Détroit (USA).
Matthew Angelo Harrison is an African-American artist whose sculptural work combines anthropology, science fiction and industrial design.

Matthew Angelo Harrison graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2012. 

He has had two solo exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit in 2016 and at Atlanta Contemporary in 2017. His work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Jewish Museum in New York (2016) and the Studio Museum in Harlem (2017). 

In 2018, he was included in the fourth triennial at the New Museum, Songs for Sabotage, as well as in a group exhibition at the MCA Chicago titled I Was Raised on the Internet.

In 2023, he participated in the collective exhibition Au-delà at Lafayette Anticipations, Paris.
