David Campany

David Campany est commissaire d'exposition, auteur et directeur général des programmes à l'International Center of Photography de New York.

Réputé pour ses écrits engageants et rigoureux, ses expositions et ses interventions publiques, David a travaillé dans le monde entier avec des institutions telles que le MoMA de New York, la Tate, la Whitechapel Gallery de Londres, le Centre Pompidou, le Bal de Paris, le Stedelijk Museum, la Photographer's Gallery de Londres, ParisPhoto, PhotoLondon, la National Portrait Gallery de Londres, Aperture, Steidl, MIT Press, Thames & Hudson, MACK et Frieze.

En 2020, il a été le commissaire de la Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie 2020 - The Lives and Loves of Images (Mannheim/Ludwigshafen/Heidelberg, Allemagne).

David est titulaire d'un doctorat. Pour ses écrits, il a reçu l'ICP Infinity Award, le Kraszna-Krausz Book Award, l'Alice Award, un Deutscher Fotobuchpreis et le prix de la Royal Photographic Society.
