By drawing, among other things, her subjects and inspirations in everyday life, Camille Henrot questions our relationship to addiction, alienation and frustration.
Her Garde-Fou (2017) perfectly illustrates these relationships of authority: a daily object, which is subject to numerous regulatory standards and embodies the dichotomy between freedom and security of the individual. The production of this work was entirely delegated by the artist and the Palais de Tokyo to the production team of Lafayette Anticipations.
