Since 2012, *DUUU – a web-radio created by artists – experiments with alternative speech situations.
*DUUU reclaims sound as an artistic platform to establish “situations in which art is discussed” and to approach the temporalities and techniques of the radio as tools for analysis. *DUUU is interested in different fields of contemporary creation, as well as in the key players and time frames involved in creative processes: the elaboration of a project, the work environment and the duration of an exhibition. The web-radio (Loraine Baud, Simon Nicaise and Simon Ripoll-Hurier) and gathers a team of regular correspondants to be followed throughout each season.
For Joining Forces with the Unknown, the *DUUU team wishes to extend the event via radio, as well as conceive a series of programs echoing the exhibit, which would be transmitted live on the radio’s platform.
Three main themes will be closely examined: the process of radio creation, the production of sound processes and technology.
