This book captures this unique project dedicated to ‘weeds’ with medicinal properties.
The plants selected by Marguerite Humeau and the journey they embody within the exhibition reflect the fragile state of our world. They envision new relationships with the soil and the living beings that make up our ecosystems. This journey is punctuated by works by Jean-Marie Appriou, which revive and invent behaviours as well as ancestral or future forms of know-how. Captured and laid bare by photographers Julia Andreone and Pierre Antoine, the exhibition reveals itself in all its facets through numerous images, introduced by a text by Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, director of Lafayette Anticipations and curator of the exhibition.
