Raisa K

A dual musical exploration, blending avant-garde pop with vocal and electronic improvisation, featuring Raisa K and Ugné Uma.

A unique figure on the London scene, Raisa K crafts avant-garde pop that is both intimate and vibrant, interwoven with the sounds of the city and carried by a magnetic voice. A former member of Micachu and the Shapes and long-time collaborator of Mica Levi – now alongside her in Good Sad Happy Bad – she has developed a direct and sensitive style of songwriting, exploring themes of intimacy, vulnerability and emotional complexity. Her debut album *Affectionately*, released last year on 15 love, asserts an identity that is both delicate and daring.

On stage, she is accompanied by Coby Sey (bass, vocals) and Pike (drums), continuing a musical dialogue already enriched by past collaborations.

In response, Ugnė Uma offers an opening performance in which the voice becomes a medium for transformation. Blending vocal improvisation with electronic textures, she crafts shifting soundscapes, inviting the audience to an ecstatic experience.

An evening conceived as a space for sensitive listening, where voices intertwine, transform and open up new forms of musical storytelling.

Ugné Uma is a Lithuanian artist based in Berlin.

Ugnė Uma’s musical stance is influenced by experimental poetry and Lithuania’s 20th century underground music scene – jazz and folk, resulting from the liberation of the country’s independence movements. She hosts a radio show about contemporary jazz called Hao Dao and also works as an art writer and essayist. Together with saxophonist Sam Gendel, she released the mesmerizing Tam Tikri Objektai Erdvėje album on Meakusma in 2023. With lyrics delving into cosmic phenomena, Tam Tikri Objektai Erdvėje is an album about space, whether cosmic or inward. With hints of improv, abstractions of pop and r&b, her music is introspective and at times hints at the more sophisticated end of balearic.
