At the heart of Yu Nishimura’s exhibition, take part in an introductory workshop on Butoh led by the Japanese dancer and choreographer Juju Alishina!
Originating in Japan, Butoh is a physical practice in which the body’s movements are guided by an inner force that emerges from memory, nature and emotions.
Open to everyone, this workshop invites you to explore the exhibition in a different way, through listening, presence and movement.
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and a pair of socks.
