Three days to explore contemporary poetry together, aloud.

For its second edition, initiated by the Librairie de Lafayette Anticipations, the festival Poésie is giving carte blanche to Éditions de l'Arche and will conclude with an exceptional evening in tribute to Pierre Guyotat.

The first evening of the festival, hosted by Gorge Bataille, is dedicated to powerful words and raised voices, with readings by authors Chouf, Shane Haddad, Phoebe Hadjimarkos Clarke, Sara Mychkine and Wendy Delorme.

For the second evening, Editions de l'Arche will present stories told by unique voices: three readings performed by authors Joëlle Sambi, Sonia Chiambretto and Athena Farrokhzad, followed by a round table discussion led by editor Claire Stavaux.

To conclude the festival, Donatien Grau, president of the Pierre Guyotat association, invites eight authors to perform excerpts from Histoire de Samora Machel, a previously unpublished work by this radical modern writer, heir to Rimbaud, due to be released at the end of February. This is an opportunity to discover a legendary volume, announced in the 1980s, but repeatedly delayed by Pierre Guyotat, who never stopped working on it.
