Le Feral
Le Féral is a project at the intersection of artistic creation, artificial intelligence, and environmental preservation, particularly that of forest ecosystems. It is located on a site spanning several hectares at the top of a hill in the Millevaches Plateau Regional Nature Park in France. The project has three dimensions: a film studio, a research and education institute, and a collective work that brings together artists each year to gradually transform the landscape documented by cameras. The works produced in this way serve as learning materials for an artificial intelligence tasked with making a film that will be broadcast continuously until 3024. This evolving environment is gradually populated and transformed thanks to the interventions of the artists, who are co-authors of this concrete fiction.

L’association 3024 est une association à but non lucratif qui a pour principale mission le déploiement d’un projet d’art contemporain (Le Féral) et la préservation du site naturel sur lequel il s’implante. L’association a été créée en 2022 d’après une idée originale de l’artiste Fabien Giraud avec la commissaire d’exposition Anne Stenne. Le Féral est une œuvre collective de forme indéterminée et en perpétuel mouvement, produite par de nombreux auteurs et contributeurs. Le site principal du Féral est situé à Cheissoux (87460), France.
