Pierre Chopinaud

Pierre Chopinaud grew up in the Lyon region, surrounded by the Lyon dialect and the language known as
Southern Salentin. He is a writer and political organiser.

At the age of 18, after NATO bombed Serbia, he volunteered to work with war refugees in UNHCR camps. He met many refugees from the Roma communities who were victims of persecution He met many refugees who were members of the Roma communities that had been persecuted and became a Romani translator. He met Pierre Guyotat (who dictated his autobiographical account
Coma to him) and Armand Gatti, and published political texts in magazines or in the form of happenings. In 2020, he published his first novel: Enfant de perdition.
