Although her creations do not claim to provide answers to the questions that agitate the anxieties of human beings, they nevertheless propose to accompany their reflections with a pronounced aesthetic sense. Alicja Kwade's sculptures and installations are set in an often monumental space in which geometric forms evoke the cosmos, nature, the passage of time or the movement of the planets. Her pure and often poetic structures are constructed with great scientific rigour.
