Entirely supervised by Martin Margiela in collaboration with graphic designer Irma Boom and the editorial team at Lafayette Anticipations, the 350-page catalogue documents the creation of the works in the exhibition, combining installation views and behind-the-scenes images taken by the artist.
Conceived as a studio book, it reveals the sources of inspiration and the production process carried out with the Foundation’s teams. Texts by Chris Dercon, Friedrich Meschede, François Quintin and Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel shed light on Margiela’s approach, complemented by an interview with Balthasar Laury.
