An artist, publisher, and filmmaker, K. Desbouis develops a practice that takes the abstract relationships between individuals as its starting point in order to explore dysfunctional relationships with entertainment, power structures, forms of attachment, and moral dilemmas. His work draws as much on the deconstruction of cinematic conventions as on the practices of screenwriting. Since 2020, he has directed Suckcess, a periodical conceived as an artist’s book and a collective project that brings together artists and writers to explore social, moral, and identity-related issues.
