With the fourth edition of Terre, a market bringing together independent ceramic artists, Lafayette Anticipations is celebrating contemporary ceramics.
For one weekend, the Fondation's Agora becomes a vibrant space of movement and matter. Between free forms and organic inspirations, each creator composes and presents a unique universe, revealing all the richness and vitality of the current ceramics scene.
Terre is also an invitation to meet the ceramists, discover their expertise and learn about their stories. It is a rare opportunity to exchange ideas, find exceptional pieces – poetic objects, tableware or wonderful gifts (for others or yourself) – and support demanding and inventive craftsmanship.
The market is accompanied by a series of workshops open to all, led by Zoé Grenaudier and si jeune montagne, to learn about working with clay and experiment with its essential techniques, alone, with friends or with family! (bookings coming soon)
Ceramic pieces created as part of Bien Commun – a collective creative programme run by the Foundation for social and medical-social organisations – are also on display and sold to raise funds for a charity.
