The artist Yasmina Benabderrahmane presents a collaborative performance, the result of ten workshops carried out over a period of two months, with the participation of Emmaüs Solidarité residents.

Equipped with a disposable camera, each participant was invited to create a series of images that reflected their own intimate reality. Printed on edible paper and assembled like parchment into long, unrollable strips, these fragments of life, echoes and sensitive archives of each person's reality, gradually gave rise to a choreographic ritual that questioned - both literally and figuratively - the way we consume images.

During the performance, the public are invited to take part in a stroll that fully involves them in this ritual, where they become central players in the performance Miam! Or the paths of shared images.

Prix Emmaüs Solidarité pour la création contemporaine
The Emmaus Solidarity Prize for Contemporary Art offers people supported by the association, as well as the general public, the opportunity to elect an artist to produce a collaborative work. Each year, a number of practical art workshops result in the creation of a work, which is presented at the Foundation on a dedicated evening.

A French artist of Algerian-Moroccan origin, Yasmina Benabderrahmane graduated from ENSBA Paris in 2009 and from the Studio national - Le Fresnoy in 2015.

She has been awarded several prizes, grants and residencies for her research and creative work, and takes part in solo and group exhibitions in Europe and abroad.
