Singer-songwriter and novelist Clara Ysé has published her first collection of poetry, Vivante. This meeting will be followed by a musical reading with the author.

Inspired by the works of Ingeborg Bachmann, Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaieva, as well as René Char and Fernando Pessoa, Clara Ysé has been writing poetry since she was a teenager.

The 69 poems that make up Vivante are striking for their elegant assurance, their dazzling, hard-hitting language and their piercing sensitivity and lucidity. Clara Ysé observes the torments of the soul and describes the struggle against the monsters of absence, melancholy and pain.

Drawn from a deeply literary imagination, the vocabulary and metaphors that characterise Clara Ysé's poetry give a universal beauty and value to the most intimate and crudely real feelings.
